Dharma Talk—Ecodharma

How can Buddhist and Ecological Wisdom support each other?

The ecological crisis is the most dangerous challenge that humanity has ever faced. What do Buddhist teachings and practices offer that can help us understand and respond appropriately? And what does this crisis mean for how we understand and practice Buddhism?

This Dharma talk with David Loy, was the first follow up event of "Wisdom working for the Earth—Forum" held at Lerab Ling from 4-6 June.

David lectures nationally and internationally on various topics, focusing primarily on the encounter between Buddhism and modernity: what each can learn from the other. He is especially concerned about social and ecological issues.
