Following the guidance of Ripga’s advisor Masters, stupas are now being constructed in Lerab Ling, Dzogchen Beara, and Berlin. A stupa is an architectural manifestation of the enlightened mind that symbolises the different qualities of Buddhahood.
Concurrently, after 10 years of meticulous effort, Sogyal Rinpoche’s vision for a temple in Dzogchen Beara, Ireland, has come to fruition this July with the temple opening! The temple is being built in the style of a traditional Tibetan monastery, on the cliff top on Beara Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland and is/will be adorned with many representations of the enlightened body, speech and mind.
So what better time than now to share this collection of teachings on the history, benefits, and significance of constructing stupas, along with the meaning of Rabné, the practice of consecrating representations of enlightened body, speech, and mind!
